Translating for MediaWiki

Hello Tarong.

I am currently busy with a project to have the interface of MediaWiki (the software used by Wikipedia) in as many languages as possible. When I was looking to this Wikipedia, I saw that the interface is good translated, but those translations are only available on the local Wikipedia, not on all MediaWiki wikis. For example, if you log in to the English Wikipedia and change your interface language to Ilocano, you can't see the translations made here. Then I saw you are a native speaker of Ilocano. Therefore, I want to invite you to translate the interface. To do this, there is a special wiki, called Betawiki. If you want to do this, you can follow the instructions there.

Another advantage is that you can translate the namespaces (User, Help, ...) and the special page (Recentchanges, Allpages, ...) on Betawiki.

It would be very good if this language had more translations, so I would be happy if you want to help.

Thank you for supporting the standard bot policy implementation. My bot and all interwiki pywikipedia bots in the world create Interlanguage links between the different language versions of an article. Example of this work on ilo.wiki are: [3], [4] and [5]. They do all boring stuff relative interwiki and only on that (if a bot is declared as "interwiki bot"). Since they are automated, their edits are safe and don't need to be patrolled. To avoid flooding the recent changes page a bot have to be tagged as "bot" so if you go here you'll see bot's edits only clicking on "show bots".

Some years ago I wrote a (really) short story about a lonely man (actually symbolized the Saami nation). I translated into some languages and I thought, it would be great to have it more, like also in Ilokano  :) Right now I have 112 translations.
